Kumevotu - Polling Station Project

FLOSSK with the financial support of UNICEF Innovations Lab on 12.December.2010 finished the Polling Station project for the Parliamentary Elections of 2010 in Kosovo.

The project aimed making it as easy as possible for people, especially for the younger generation, to find their dedicated polling station, through the created website http://kumevotu.info

Software Freedom Kosova 2010

On 25 and 26 September “Software Freedom Kosova” Conference was hosted for the second time in Prishtina .
Organized by FLOSS Kosovo and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer (FIEK) of the University of Pristina.

FLOSS Camp in Shëngjin

On 17-18 July in Shëngjin, Albania, FLOSSK dhe FLOSSAL organized  a FLOSS Camp.
Many people attended the event, members of FLOSS Kosovo and Albania and other fans of free software. Our local friends ensured free wireless to all attendees at the event at such a remote location.

Free Digital Society with Richard Stallman

With the initiative of FLOSSK on June 4, Richard Stallman, founder and president of the Free Software Foundation Richard Stallman visited Kosovo.

FLOSSK at ITTF

FLOSSK used this year's edition of the Information Technology Fair (ITTF)  held in Prishtina to present our organization and promote Free and Open  Source Software to visitors at the fair.

KDE SC 4.4 Release Party

On the occasion of the launch of the new KDE 4.4, FLOSSK organized a celebration party on 09/02/2010 at the IDI offices attended by more than 20 fans of Free and Open Source Software and KDE users.


The event was opened by Milot Shala who made a presentation of KDE 4.4 SC
